The generator controller monitors the utility supply and automatically starts the generator within seconds after the outage occurs. After the generator starts, it signals the transfer switch to supply the home with power from the generator.

The Cummins 20kW Generator with Intelligent Load Management (**kit sold separately) learns and remembers the power requirements of 240-volt loads like air conditioners.
